Mindfulness/Meditation

Meditation is a medicine for healing the mind and body and has been in practice for centuries. Meditation is a spiritual science practice that gives us the ability to control our minds which affects how our body functions and speed up the healing process of an illness. Healthy Mind = Healthy Body. According to research, meditation continues to be one of the essential practices for managing and healing health conditions like depression, cancer, sleep problems, high BP – blood pressure, asthma, anxiety, heart problems and diseases, and migraines.

 

LiveWell has many opportunities to learn mindfulness skills and experience various group meditations. Our 500sqft sacred meditation studio is set up and ready for personal meditation sessions. Sometime just knowing that a space exists to simply SIT in Silence brings peace and comfort to the heart.

Music Therapy
Music Therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship. Music is the catalyst for therapeutic change, growth, or experience.

 

Music has healing effects on mind and body and promotes relaxation and distracts from pain associated with many illnesses. Research studies prove the benefits of music therapy for anxiety, stress reduction, depression, and mood disorders. Individuals listen to, play, and even write their own music with guidance from a professionally trained music therapist.

 

This process can evolve to give meaning and voice to complex emotions. It can also strengthen and enhance connections and support from loved ones.

Integrative Psychotherapy 
Your mental health is a big part of your overall wellness, impacting how you think, feel, and act. It can determine how you respond to stress, make decisions, and have relationships.

 

When your mental health isn’t optimal, your therapist may use integrative therapy to help you achieve wholeness. Psychotherapy, also called talk therapy, is a type of mental health treatment used to treat mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, adjustment disorders and more.

 

We utilize therapeutic models and methods to best suit the client according to needs, preferences, personality traits, and season of life while helping you to feel safe enough to explore and express. Integrative therapy helps to create a healthy alliance between mind and body - empowering clients to start setting goals and practicing new behaviors that will enable them to move beyond their limitations and discover greater life satisfaction.
