Ayurvedic Acupuncturist & Functional Medicine Practitioner

As a holistic health provider, I help my clients get to the root of their symptoms so they can heal from the inside out. My approach is gentle yet effective and I meet my clients where they are. I'm careful not to overwhelm my clients with complicated diets, restrictive protocols, or adding more to their never-ending to-do list. I believe that small steps lead to big changes over time. I'm passionate about educating my clients on the ways of Eastern Medicine and evidence-based modalities so that they can continue to heal and create a  healthy lifestyle that supports them for years to come.

Certified as an Ayurvedic Practitioner since 2010 and Doctor of Oriental Medicine (Licensed Acupuncturist) since 2015, NCCAOM certified. Most recently, I became a certified neuroscience-based coach. I also have a background in meditation, mindfulness, yoga, and qi gong.

I experienced chronic digestive issues, insomnia, and an undiagnosed anxiety disorder for the first 20 years of my life. After being introduced to Ayurveda and meditation, I healed myself from years of digestive issues, food sensitivities, and insomnia. This experience helped me to see the undeniable connection between the mind and body. I've been studying, learning, and practicing Eastern Medicine for the past 20 years. I'm also the founder of The Yin Way, a women's wellness online program designed to help busy women and mothers find tools to manage stress and simplify their self-care so that they can go through life feeling lit up rather than burned out.

Outside of work, I take great pleasure in the simple things: drinking tea, sitting on my deck in a patch of sunlight, watching the birds, getting lost in a novel or memoir, and enjoying good conversation with friends. I love cooking and hosting brunch or dinner parties. I love hiking, especially the foothills of Santa Fe where I spent many good years scrambling up the rocky terrain. I love to wake early and write, sip gingery chai, and commune with the natural world. I love traveling domestically and internationally. Most of all, I love being with my husband, 5-year-old son, and our golden retriever.
